EDUFOKAM LIBERIA EduFokam

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These terms govern any school's use of EduFokam. Registering a school, activating a trial, or logging in as a principal, teacher, student, or guardian all count as agreeing to them. If a school doesn't agree, EduFokam isn't the right platform for that school — please don't register.

1. What EduFokam is

EduFokam is a school-management platform for Liberian schools covering Grades 4–12: attendance records, marksheets (period and exam marks, semester/yearly averages, class rank), and homework (assignment, submission, and grading). It is provided to schools as tenants — principals, teachers, students, and guardians access it through accounts issued by their school's principal.

2. Free trial

New schools get 7 days of full access to every module, free, starting from registration. No payment details are required to start a trial. When the trial ends without an active subscription, login access is paused — existing records are kept, not deleted, and access resumes once the school subscribes.

3. Subscription & payment

Continued access after the trial requires a paid subscription. EduFokam does not process payments in-app and does not connect to any mobile-money network's payment API. Instead: the school's principal sends payment via Mobile Money (Lonestar MTN or Orange Money) to the number shown on the Subscribe/Renew page, sends proof of payment to EduFokam's developer on WhatsApp, and receives a one-time activation token once that payment is manually confirmed. It is the principal's responsibility to send payment from a number they control and to keep their own proof of payment until it's confirmed.

EduFokam does not collect school fees, guardian payments, or any other funds on a school's behalf — the only payment relationship this platform is used for is a school's own subscription to EduFokam.

4. Accounts & responsibilities

5. Student & school data

Attendance, marksheet, and homework records entered by a school remain that school's data. EduFokam stores it so it can follow a student across grades without being re-entered each year, and so it's available consistently to the roles who need it (principal, relevant teachers, the student, and the student's guardian). See the Privacy Policy for how this data is collected, used, and protected.

6. Acceptable use

A school and its users agree not to:

7. Availability

EduFokam is built with offline-friendly features (installable as an app, cached screens) so it keeps working through patchy connections, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical issues, or connectivity outside our control can affect access from time to time.

8. Suspension & termination

Access can be suspended for a school that doesn't renew its subscription, or for a school or user that violates these terms. Suspension preserves existing records rather than deleting them; a school's data is not discarded just because access is paused.

9. Limitation of liability

EduFokam is provided as a record-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for a school's own official academic records where those are legally required in another form, and EduFokam is not liable for decisions made based on data a school entered incorrectly. To the extent permitted by law, EduFokam's liability for any issue arising from use of the platform is limited to the subscription fees paid by the affected school in the preceding subscription period.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the platform changes. Continued use of EduFokam after an update means the updated terms apply. Material changes will be noted with an updated "last updated" date above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia.
